About the Role
We are looking for an IT Manager to join our Innovation team, reporting to the CTO. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the IT infrastructure at MyAmici. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our internal IT systems and providing excellent support to our employees.
What will you be doing?
- Maintaining the IT infrastructure at MyAmici, including local networking with Unifi equipment.
- Managing an estate of approximately 100 Windows laptops used by employees.
- Administering the Microsoft Office 365 environment, including creating new user accounts, managing permissions, and handling applications.
- Managing the onboarding and offboarding process for employees from an IT perspective.
- Providing IT Helpdesk support through a Jira Service Desk, proactively picking up support cases and interacting with employees to solve problems.
- Improving and automating IT processes, including the remote management of devices.
- Looking for ways to enabling the team through hardware and software.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven, hands-on experience managing a Microsoft Office 365 environment, including user and application administration.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a Windows laptop estate of around 100 devices.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with local area networking, particularly with Unifi equipment.
- A proactive, customer-centric approach to providing IT support and resolving issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact confidently with employees at all levels.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- A strong understanding of information security principles and best practices for managing infrastructure and cloud services.
- Experience working within an organisation that adheres to security standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
- Experience with IT Service Management frameworks, such as ITIL, and using service desk tools like Jira.
- Proficiency in automating IT processes using PowerShell.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools, for instance, N-able or Microsoft Intune.
